Choosing the Right Residential Gas Water

Measure the space where the existing water heater now sits (including necessary plumbing, venting and gas connections) and note the existing tank size. Tank size and BTU input is key to ensuring plenty of hot water during peak usage. All sizes are presented in Liters and US Gallons.     Direct Vent Allows for a sealed combustion process to take place. Combustion air comes in from the outside and flue gases exit to the outside in a 2-pipe venting system. Ideal for tightly built new homes.

    Atmospheric Vent These models are naturally vented into B-vent chimneys or approved lined chimneys. Available in both natural gas and propane models.
